A Brief History
Over the years we have worked with a broad range of organisations
ranging from Connexions, Social Services, Schools, Colleges, Job
Centre Plus and employers. As a professional working within the
industry, you will know that our profession is one of continual
change. Traditionally our funding has focused on youth training.
However, with increasing demand on improving the skills of the
nation’s workforce we have been awarded funding to run a number of
programmes to help adults into work. These programmes have been
funded by the Learning and Skills Council, European Social Fund and Local
Authorities.
Working with you
As a training provider we continuously strive to improve our
services and broaden our knowledge base of who is working within the
industry and what is currently on offer.
We may be able to help your organisation by offering services which
you are not providing. We work with other organisations in relation
to supporting funding applications and existing projects. Currently
we are supporting local colleges and charities to deliver training
for those hardest to help within the community for example single
parents, people with learning or physical disabilities and those
under represented within local ethnic groups.
