September Success

Cycling Skills During September staff took 23 students across all our provisions in Carshalton to Sutton cycling pavilion.  Students had a mixed cycling ability level with some experienced riders and others who had limited or no prior experience. The session was a great success and even staff got involved!

Big Thank You to Angela!

Environmental Awareness

This Autumn, our STEPs students are helping the environment by litter-picking in Grove Park. The students have already collected two black sacks full of recyclable litter. Local businesses are supporting our students on their quest to improve the local environment by displaying posters created by our students to encourage the local community to recycle and use the bins provided.

Creative Communication

Our Games Design & ESOL students have started working with the Attic Theatre Company on a weekly basis building on communication skills.  The workshops encourage peer communication, help build confidence and self esteem in a fun and interactive way.  We look forward seeing our students develop over the year.

  Good Hair Day

The salon has been a buzz of activity with Level 3 students already completing hairdressing services on clients. Students on entry level to Level 2 are completing blow-dries and hair-ups on their peers. We look forward to next months update after they have visited the Excel Centre for Salon International.
