Choices
Choices is a specialist provision focused on supporting learners who may need additional guidance to re-engage with education or training. The centre offers a structured environment where students can rebuild confidence, develop personal and social skills, and explore future opportunities. With a vocational qualification aimed at building and construction, students develop skills that can be applied in a range of trade industries. Choices helps learners identify their goals and prepare for progression into further training, education, or employment.
Building and construction qualifications are available at Choices. Students will learn the fundamentals of the trades including essential topics such as health and safety. Practical skills such as electrics, carpentry and blockwork will be introduced to students alongside English and maths.
At Choices, students have the opportunity to exercise their independence with a student kitchen, allowing students to prepare their own food and drinks.
Students have access to a Zen den, a safe and quiet space for learners to decompress and relax if needed.
