Safeguarding

Sutton and District Training Directors take overall responsibility for prioritising safeguarding in the organisation.

Sutton and District Training is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.

We have a safeguarding policy and a procedure in place which all staff must follow.

Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a young person's welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our learners are discussed with them and their parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the young person's welfare.
